About PermitMap — Construction Intelligence for Contractors
PermitMap sends weekly building permit reports to contractors in Florida and Texas. We pull data from county building departments and filter it by trade and county. Each report includes property addresses, project details, permit values, and homeowner names. Roofers, HVAC techs, plumbers, pool builders, electricians, solar installers, and general contractors use PermitMap to find jobs before the competition.
How PermitMap Works
- 1We pull every building permit filed in your county each week, straight from the county building department.
- 2We score each permit 0–100 by opportunity value — factoring in trade, project size, and permit value.
- 3You get a ranked lead list every Monday morning, filtered to your trade and county and ready to act on.
Why Permit Data?
Building permits are public record, filed with the county before any visible construction begins. That timing is the entire edge: by the time a project is framed, roofed, or visible from the street, the contracts are already signed. Because PermitMap surfaces permits the week they're filed, contractors get a 2–4 week head start on competitors who wait for word of mouth, drive-by signage, or shared lead lists. You reach the homeowner or general contractor while the job is still being planned — not after someone else has already bid it.
What We Do
Every week, county building departments across Florida process thousands of building permits. These permits represent real construction projects with committed budgets. PermitMap aggregates this public data, filters it by trade, and delivers it to contractors every Monday morning.

What's in a PermitMap Report
Each weekly report is a filtered, scored list of the permits that matter to your trade and county. Every record carries the property address, the project scope, the permit valuation when the county reports it, the filing date, and the owner or contractor of record where available — and each is scored 0–100 so the highest-opportunity jobs rise to the top. Reports arrive every Monday by email, with a dashboard to search, filter, and export.
Because permits are public records filed before work begins, the report is essentially a two-to-four-week head start: a list of homeowners and builders who have committed to projects but haven't yet hired everyone they need. That timing — not volume alone — is what makes permit data more useful to a contractor than any shared lead list.
